Exams and qualifications

EU GDPR Foundation distance learning exam

Delegates take the EU General Data Protection Regulation Foundation (EU GDPR F) online examination at the end of the course – a 60-minute multiple-choice, ISO 17024-certificated exam set by IBITGQ. There is no extra charge for this exam. You will receive a voucher valid for six months for the EU GDPR F exam when you buy this course.

There are two online exam formats:

Windows computer systems	Apple Mac operating systems
Automated remote proctoring.	Live, online proctoring.
You will be monitored online through your webcam and your results will be confirmed once the footage of your examination has been reviewed by the certification body.	A supervisor monitors you while you take the exam using the video conferencing system WebEx.
The remote proctoring system only works on Windows computers.	The live, online proctoring system is only available for Mac operating systems.
System requirements: Internet access for the full duration of the exam. A Flash-compatible webcam (built-in or external). Adobe Flash Player installed and activated. Proctoring software downloaded and installed on your computer.	System requirements: Internet access for the full duration of the exam. A working webcam (built-in or external). Pop-up blocker disabled.
Important: Before purchase, please check with your IT department that you have permission to download software on your computer.

What qualifications will I receive?

The course supports professional development, and delegates who pass the included exam are awarded the ISO 17024-certificated EU GDPR Foundation (EU GDPR F) qualification by IBITGQ. It is also certificated by the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP) and satisfies the IISP Skills Framework requirements at Level 1: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, B2 and C3.

How will I receive my exam results and certificates?

Provisional exam results will be given immediately after completing the exam, confirmed results will be issued within 10 working days with your certificate to your email address.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt you can retake the exam for an additional fee. You can email us to schedule the retest for the exam.
